    This area works accompanying social and working inclusion of people living a situation of exclusion or at risk of it.

    It is aimed at young immigrants (over 18 years old) that start their emancipation process, coming from the under aged protection services of the Council and still in need of some educational accompaniment so they can finish their social and working inclusion

    This is a resource promoted by the City Council of BaraKaldo and managed by Asociación Goiztiri Elkartea since 2001-2002 school year.
    Its main goal is to help students from ESO and Primary school to achieve the objectives of their educational stage and to prevent truancy

    It promotes accompaniment of families and groups in a risk of exclusion, rejected by the market and without any possiblity to get to the housing public service, enabling them to get a respectable house

Tandem Now

APRENDIENDO DE LA EXPERIENCIA

Goiztiri, junto con otras 6 entidades de distintas nacionalidades, sigue participando en el programa Tandem Now. Dicho programa, financiado por la línea de Programas de Aprendizaje Permanente de la Comisión Europea, se encuentra en estos momentos en su fase de “piloting”.

En esta fase, las personas mentoras son puestas en contacto con jóvenes (en su mayoría procedentes del Magreb) interesados en conocer experiencias vitales de integración en una sociedad distinta a la de origen. Las personas mentoras, que proceden de diversos países de América Latina y África, actúan como referente en el proceso de integración social y laboral.

El objetivo de este programa de tutorías combinadas es que, tanto las personas de referencia como los y las jóvenes migrantes, puedan tener una relación de aprendizaje y acompañamiento a través del nexo migrante común que les une. Las tutorías se realizan tanto de manera presencial como a través de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.
